ASMUCAFE is the Association of Women Agricultural Producers of Uribe, an organization of women farmers and landowners in El Tambo, Cauca, Colombia. Their mission is to improve their families’ quality of life through coffee cultivation and contribute positively to the community. A premium price is added to support projects empowering women. The coffee undergoes a “double” fermentation process: 14 hours in cherry, then depulped and fermented for another 10 hours, followed by multiple washes and drying for 8–12 days.
